Christopher Hopkins is a stylist from Minneapolis, Minnesota who has earned himself legions of fans online, where he goes by the name “The Makeover Guy.”

Christopher has seen firsthand how changing someone’s exterior can give them a huge boost on the inside as well, and he particularly enjoys giving women over 45 a new lease on life by giving them the makeovers they’ve always dreamed of.

Penny is a woman who traveled all the way from California just to make an appointment at Christopher’s salon after seeing his videos online.

She still had blonde curls at the end of her hair, but she was graying in most other parts of it, which is why she decided to hand control over to Christopher and let him decide what new look would best suit her.

Penny was understandably nervous, but she knew that she was in good hands when Christopher got to work on her.

As for him, he knew exactly what look to give Penny to bring out her best features.

When Penny finally saw her new look once Christopher was done with her, she could not believe her eyes!

“No. No, no… Oh my God!” Penny explained, not recognizing herself at first.

Christopher had come up with a look that made Penny’s stunning blue eyes pop, and she left his salon looking decades younger than she did when she walked in!

In the end, Penny could not have been happier with her new look.

“Look at me. This is a dream come true!” she said. “This is exactly what I’ve always wanted. We didn’t talk. We said nothing… Nobody has ever been able to do this color.”

Penny added that the makeover turned out far better than she ever could have dreamed.

“I’m not gonna be able to stop looking at myself all night,” she said. “It’s like an angel came down from heaven and said, ‘What wish do you want?’ and there it is.”

Social media users agreed that the makeover truly was incredible!

“Oh my God! She looks like a totally new woman. She went from looking like she’s 70 to 40!” one social media user commented, with another adding, “Nearly fell of the sofa. I think sometimes people loose themselves over time in the daily grind. This makeover rediscovered her vibrant lovely personality. Top!”
