A California mother, Latana Chai, faced a devastating incident when her family home burned down, while her seven-month-old daughter, Masailah, was trapped inside.

The situation was worsened when Latana noticed her usually calm pit bull, Sasha, barking and scratching frantically at the back door, which was out of character for the dog.
