Over the past few years, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have sent fans into a frenzy multiple times by interacting publicly and fueling rumors that they may be reuniting. The pair were married for five years before they divorced back in 2005.

Aniston and Pitt made headlines when she brushed past him at the 2020 SAG Awards, with cameras capturing them briefly holding hands as they caught up with one another, according to Fox News. Howard Stern asked Aniston about the “awkward” exchange while interviewing her this week, but she said it was not actually weird at all.

“It was absolutely fun. You know, Brad and I are buddies,” Aniston said. “Like, we’re friends and we speak.”

“There’s no oddness at all,” she added, “except for everyone that probably watched it and was wanting there to be.”

After their divorce, Aniston would go on to marry the actor Justin Theroux in 2015, but they divorced in 2018. Pitt began dating the Hollywood star Angelina Jolie right after his split with Aniston, marrying her in 2014 before splitting in 2016. While their divorce was finalized in 2019, their bitter custody battle over their six children remains ongoing at this time.

Pitt and Aniston remain good friends to this day, and they hang out with one another at times. Pitt even attended Aniston’s 50th birthday party and her star-studded holiday party in 2019.

“I’ll run into Jen, she’s a good friend. Yeah,” Pitt said on the red carpet at the Golden Globes in 2020.

In her latest interview, Aniston told Stern that while she has not yet found love, she is “of course open to it.” However, she added that she will not be joining any of the popular dating apps and is “doing just fine” without them.

“There’s nothing anonymous about it and I wouldn’t do that,” Aniston explained of the elite dating app Raya. “I don’t want to do that and I don’t need to do that. I’m all good.”

When asked if she’ll ever get married again, Aniston said, “Oh God, I don’t know. It’s not on my radar. I’m interested in finding a fantastic partner and just living an enjoyable life and having fun with one another. That’s all we should hope for. It doesn’t have to be etched in stone in legal documents.”
