In a new interview on Thursday night, Prince Harry opened up about the moment that he knew Meghan Markle was “the one” for him.

“The second date I was starting to think ‘Wow, this is pretty special,'” Harry told late night host James Corden. “It was just the fact we hit it off with each other and we were just so comfortable in each other’s company.”

Harry went on to say that dating himself or any other royal is not easy.

“All the dates become dinners, or watching the tv or chatting at home. Then eventually once you become a couple, then you venture out to dinners to the cinema and everything else,” Harry said. “Everything was done back to front with us so actually we got to spend an enormous amount of time just the two of us rather than going to friends’ houses or out for dinner where there were other distractions.”

Harry went on to say that he loved the way that he and Meghan connected over the course of their first few dates.

“There were no distractions and that was great,” he said. “It was an amazing thing, we went from zero to 60 in the first two months.”

Later in the interview, Harry said that he and Meghan are looking forward to refocusing on their favorite causes after COVID-19 lockdowns finally come to an end, even if it’s “a slightly different version but a continuation of what we were doing back in the UK anyway.”

“That is what our life – my life’s always going to be about public service,” he said. “And Meghan signed up to that and the two of us enjoy doing that. Trying to bring some compassion and try and make people happy and try and change the world in any small way that we can.” (ANI)

In this same interview, Harry talked about how he feels about the Netflix television show “The Crown,” which is about the British royal family.

“It’s fictional. But it’s loosely based on the truth,” Harry said. “Of course it’s not strictly accurate, but it gives you a rough idea about what that lifestyle—the pressures of putting duty and service above family and everything else—what can come from that.”

“I’m way more comfortable with ‘The Crown’ than I am seeing the stories written about my family, or my wife or myself, because it’s the difference between fiction—take it how you will—and being reported on as fact because you’re supposedly news,” he added. “I have a real issue with that.”
