A kindergartner from Florida who had not seen her mother, who is a member of the United States Navy, since before the coronavirus pandemic hit was reunited with her on Tuesday. The entire reunion was captured on video, and we must warn you to have some tissues handy before you watch it, because this one is sure to hit you right in the feels.

Fox News reported that the little girl was surprised with a visit from her mother at the Louise R. Johnson K-8 School of International Studies in Bradenton earlier this week. In an emotional moment that was captured on camera, U.S. Navy Chief Yeoman Diana Martin scooped up her little girl and hugged her for the first time in months.

“A very happy reunion at Johnson K-8!” school officials wrote on Facebook. ‘An emotional surprise took place Monday, February 8th at Louise R. Johnson K-8 School of International Studies in Bradenton. U.S. Navy Chief Yeoman Diana Martin surprised her young daughter upon returning from a 10-month deployment aboard the USS Ralph Johnson.”

‘YNC Martin was hiding inside a school office when her daughter’s Kindergarten class was walking past from Physical Education,” the official added. “It was an emotional moment for their family, along with a small group of school administrators and teachers.”

The video has since gone viral, touching the hearts of people from all over the world.

“That’s the happiest thing I’ll see all day,” one social media user wrote, with another adding, “Such a beautiful moment.”

“Simply beautiful… Thank you for posting this and for allowing us to experience the joy, pure love in this tearful reunion,” commented a third user, with a fourth writing, “I cried watching this simply amazing and also thank you for your services.”

Martin told WWL that she expects to be home for the next six months, but she will be deploying again after that.
