Ellen is a woman from Sioux Falls, South Dakota who spent years being a widow before she married her current husband. While Ellen is happy with her love life, she was unhappy with herself physically. That’s why she decided to make a change and travel all the way to the Minneapolis, Minnesota salon of Christopher Hopkins, who is better known as “The Makeover Guy.”

Ellen knew she would be in good hands because Christopher specializes in giving women over the age of 45 a new lease on life with his incredible makeovers.

”The whole mission is to uplift behavior through beauty,” Christopher said in the trailer video for his YouTube channel. “How you present yourself: how you speak, how you walk, how you talk, how you present yourself to the world.”

Before her makeover, Ellen said that she feels like she’s in her 30s on the inside despite the fact that she’s really 63.

“I feel like I’m in my early 30s on the inside and I’m 63 on the outside,” she explained.

Ellen went on to say that she’s had the same look for decades, and she’s ready for a change.

“I’ve pretty much had this look for twenty years and I don’t have a problem with it, […] kind of like my hair color the way it is right now because it’s letting my grey come in,” she said.

Christopher knew exactly what to do with Ellen as soon as he saw her. He ended up cutting her hair and dying it darker, making her look decades younger by the time he was finished! Ellen could not believe her eyes when she saw the results of her makeover.

“I came in as a blonde,” she exclaimed. “I’m going out as a brunette, and I love it. I was meant to be a brunette!”

Social media users agreed that this was one of Christopher’s best makeovers ever.
