This past year has been an incredibly difficult one for millions of people all over the world due to the coronavirus pandemic, and tons of people are struggling right now. With so much suffering in the world, it’s easy to forget that there are still good people out there who are going above and beyond to do kind things for others.

That’s why it’s so heartwarming that a video is going viral this week in which a hardworking cleaning lady from New York City gets the surprise of a lifetime from the residents of the building where she works every day.

When Rosa arrived to work recently, she took the elevator to a penthouse apartment that she thought that she had to clean. When she got there, she was stunned to earn that 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom penthouse had actually been gifted to her by residents of the building.

When the residents learned that Rosa had been hit with some hard times during the pandemic, they all pitched in to pay a two year lease for her to live in the penthouse. Rosa could not believe how generous they were to help her out in this way!

“The people that live here have been telling me a lot about your contributions to this building and a lot of people here in this building are a big fan of yours,” the real estate agent can be heard saying in the video below.

“You’re kind of a celebrity here, you’re very well-loved, and I know it’s been a tough year for you and your family and there’s been a lot of financial hardships,” the agent adds. “I have a contract here for a two-year lease on this unit that some of your fans knocked together. They’re taking care of it, all you have to do is sign and take the keys.”

The video has quickly gone viral, touching the hearts of people from all over the world.
