Laura is a 56 year-old woman from Washington state who has two daughters and a husband. While Laura loves her life, she had physically been feeling a bit drab lately, which is why her husband decided to treat her to a makeover.
Laura was specifically unhappy with her hair, and the caption of the video below states that the look she was going for was, “Classic, timeless, put together, but feminine was her goal…” He look had changed so much in her 50s that she no longer recognized herself, especially since she went back to her natural hair color five years ago.
Laura’s husband wanted to make sure she was in the best hands possible for her makeover. That’s why he sent her to the Minneapolis, Minnesota salon of Christopher Hopkins, who is better known as “The Makeover Guy!” Christopher specializes in giving women over the age of 45 makeovers that give them a new lease on life, and he knew exactly what to do with Laura when she walked in.
Once Christopher was done with her, Laura was astounded by the way that she looked.
“I feel like me again!” she said as she swung her hair while looking in the mirror.
When Laura’s husband saw her, his reaction could not be more touching, as his hand went right to his heart.
“This is what it was like when I saw her at our wedding,” he said as he became emotional.
He then gave his wife a big hug. When asked if he liked Laura’s new blonde hair, the husband said, “Oh my gosh, yes.”
“You guys bring what’s on the inside to the outside, and that’s a very special gift,” he said, before turning to his wife and adding, “And so are you. You look great.”
Social media users agreed that this was one of Christopher’s best makeovers ever.
“Who needs to sit through an entire cheesy Hallmark special?” one person commented. “That man’s reaction to his gorgeous wife’s new look is enough to make me feel cozy inside.”
“He has the most devastatingly beautiful wife inside and out,” another user added, with a third writing, “Absolutely adored the reaction of her hubby.”
