The Queen and Philip got married in 1947 in a lavish wedding in Westminster Abbey.

“With her bridal dress and tiara on her wedding day, she was a knockout,” Lady Pamela Hicks, one of the Queen’s bridesmaids, told People Magazine. “And, of course, Philip was every girl’s dream Viking prince.”

George, Charlotte, and Louis are the three children of Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton. They aren’t the only great-grandchildren of the Queen and Philip’s, however, as they also are great-grandparents to Archie, the 1 year-old son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Unfortunately, Archie now lives across the world from the Queen and Philip, as his parents moved to California after stepping down as senior royals earlier this year.

Entertainment Tonight reported that the Queen and Philip are additionally great-grandparents to Mia and Lena Tindall, the daughters of Zara Phillips, Princess Anne’s daughter, and Savannah and Isla Phillips, the daughters of Peter Phillips, Princess Anne’s son. They have another great-grandchild on the way as well, as Prince Andrew’s daughter Princess Eugenie announced in September that she’s pregnant with her first child with her husband Jack Brooksbank.

The Queen and Philip have sadly not gotten to see as much of their family as they normally would over the past few months, as they have had to take the COVID-19 quarantine especially seriously due to their advanced ages. They are undoubtedly especially excited for this pandemic to be over, as it will allow them top get precious time in to bond with their adorable little great-grandchildren!
