Former “Fuller House” star Candace Cameron Bure, who was also previously a contestant on “Dancing With The Stars,” just spoke out to say she was “disappointed” when Tom Bergeron and his cohost Erin Andrews were abruptly fired from the dancing competition back in July.

“I have to say that I was disappointed to see Tom and Erin go; it made me sad just like the rest of America, they’ve been brilliant on that show,” Bure told Pop Culture.

Despite her disappointment over what happened to Bergeron and Andrews, Bure still tuned in to see how their replacement, supermodel Tyra Banks, would handle hosting the show.

“But I had to tune into to see Tyra and see the new changes they were gonna make,” Bure said. She added that despite the fact that there was no audience due to COVID-19, the big ballroom still felt the same.

“It still felt big […] it still felt like a big ballroom, and in that way, it was wonderful,” Bure said.

Bure then talked about who she is rooting for on this season.

I’m friends with so many of the pros, a lot of times I don’t even mind who the celebrity is, but I want that pro to go far. I love watching them,” Bure said, going on to add, “I am so in it for Carole Baskin because come on; who does not want to see her go to the very end […] we are all here for it. She’s comedy gold, okay!”

This comes after “Dancing With The Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba spoke out to give her thoughts on how Banks did as host in the first episode of the season.

“It was amazing” Inaba said. “That first moment when she came out and the red dress, and then, listen, I’m a dancer, a dancer loves a good walk and those first four steps — which was boom, boom, boom, bam! I mean, talk about setting a new chapter.” She continued, “I think she really told the world where she’s taking the show. She put her stamp on the show and I thought the stamp was great.”
