It’s been just one week since Lori Loughlin plead guilty to charges against her in the college admissions scandal, but her 20 year-old daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli has already launched a plan to “rebuild” her “brand” on  YouTube.

Prior to the scandal, Giannulli had been a popular “influencer” on YouTube with 1.9 million followers. When news of the scandal broke last year, Giannulli stopped sharing her videos on the site for months, only returning back in December with a video in which she explained her absence by saying she legally could not speak about the lawsuit her parents had found themselves in.

Much of the reviews for Giannulli’s video were negative, and aside from one more video later in December, she has not shared anymore content since.

However, now that her parents have plead guilty, sources are saying Giannulli is set on putting this scandal behind her and relaunching her YouTube career.

“As far as her career, getting back on YouTube is still the end goal,” a source told Us Weekly. “But she knows that for a while she might face some struggle.”

Giannulli had many lucrative sponsors prior to the scandal, but virtually all of them ditched her when it broke. Despite this, Giannulli is confidant that she will be able to secure brand deals going forward.

“She also knows that certain brands might want to capitalize on this whole situation and will be interested in working with her,” the source explained. “It might not be her ideal picks, but she knows there is still a platform there for her and she will regroup and rebuild her brand in one way or another.”

When it comes to what’s next for her in her career, the insider said that Giannulli has a new headspace.

“Olivia has the mindset that nothing lasts forever and while she knows it will be an uphill battle, she feels much more confident than she did six months ago,” the source added. “[She] knows it’s a slow rebuild and that she’ll have to start from the ground up and be weary of her choices.”

This comes after it was reported that Giannulli and her older sister Isabella, 21, had asked their parents to plead guilty and take the deal that was offered to them last week.

“The girls’ biggest fear has been that their parents would go to jail for years,” said a source close to their family. “They all had a family discussion about their options before making a decision. Olivia and Bella also want it to be over and they agree the plea is the best option. Lori and Mossimo don’t feel like they gave up; they’re doing what’s best for their family.”

Under the terms of the deal, Loughlin will go to jail for two months, while her husband Mossimo Giannulli will be incarcerated for five months.
