Who says public transportation is only for humans? There’s a dog in Seattle, named Eclipse who takes a bus to a nearby dog park all by herself.

A fellow rider told KOMO, “all the bus drivers know her. She sits here just like a person does. She makes everybody happy. How could you not love this face?”

Do you have as many questions as we do?

Apparently it all started when the black Labrador and Mastiff mix was at a bus stop with her owner Jeff Young. He was taking too long to finish his cigarette so when the bus arrived, the dog hopped on and got off at the park.

Young realized the sweet pup can ride those 3-4 stops on the D line on her own and always knows where to get off.

Some officers say that Eclipse should ideally be on a leash, but King County allows dogs on public transport at the discretion of a driver. So, since Eclipse is such a good dog and she only loves on people — drivers are more than happy to give her a lift.
