People are always looking for ways to modify traditions and this time Christmas is taking the hit.

More specifically, Christmas trees. It’s a whole new ball game — they’re taking an an upside-down approach to their decorations.

On Instagram, users are starting to upload images of their decorations and it seems like upside-down Christmas trees are growing in popularity. One user posted a picture of a white upside-down tree with the caption, “And… it starts. The only way I found we can truly enjoy the Christmas season, is to get all of the decorating done before Thanksgiving. We do some major decorating in our house!”

These people are 100 percent the ones that have been playing Christmas music since November, 1.

Upside-down Christmas trees have been making appearances for several years now and they’re popular for more than just aesthetic reasons. Some have dubbed them as “pet friendly.” Some have even noted they could be beneficial in small apartments or tight living spaces.

Anyway, the trend has become more popular, more stores have been starting to sell upside-down trees, The Sun reported. Prices have varied from around $25 to hundreds of dollars.
