A mother and father who are the parents of quintuplets have decided to do something unusual in parenting them, and they have strong words for those who disagree.

Adam and Danielle are the parents of six daughters, five of whom are quintuplets. Back in 2015, their family grew from three people to eight when they welcomed their quintuplets.

The quintuplets are named Ava, Olivia, Hazel, Riley and Parker, and they all star in the TLC reality show “Outdaughtered.” Recently, Adam and Danielle made a decision that many have found to be shocking.

When they post a photo of their daughters heading to their first day of school, the couple announced that while four of the quintuplets are going to pre-K, they decided to put the fifth in kindergarten. Since the quintuplets were born, Riley has developed faster than any of them, causing her parents to think she was ready for kindergarten.

When they gave Riley a pre-school test, they found that she received more than double the average score.

“First day of school! Blayke 3rd grade,” they wrote in the caption. “Riley kindergarten. Ava, Olivia, Hazel, and Parker upper rotation Pre-K. Let your light shine bright girls!  mommy and Daddy love you BIG!”

Some fans have criticized Adam and Danielle for this decision, saying that it’s unfair to put one of the quintuplets in a different class. However, they have defended their decision, saying that if Riley were placed in pre-k, she would not be intellectually challenged and become bored.

“It was a learning experience for us and it’s been positive since we chose to separate them,” Adam said. “There ain’t a manual for raising quints.”
