One of the most popular attractions at a zoo is the elephants. They’re also the star at every circus that you go to. It’s really hard to not love elephants.

With their big flapping ears, that trunk that seems to have a mind of its own, and their lovable personalities, how can you not think they’re adorable.

What’s even more adorable than an elephant? A baby elephant. They’ve got all the same amazing qualities as their bigger, adult counterparts, but in a pint-sized model. Plus, they’re hilariously clumsy, curious, and all around fun.

Everything turns into a toy to a baby elephant, from tires to balls hanging in trees. Elephants love to toss them all around. They like to climb over things too, although as you’ll see in the video below, they’re not very good at it.

When a baby elephant is born, it typically weighs around 250 pounds and stands roughly three feet tall. They have very little control over their trunks for the first few months, making their antics even more adorable. The poor little guys often trip over their extra long appendage.

Check out this video to see just how cute these little, actually big babies, can really be. Their wrinkles, floppy ears, and curiosity is sure to entertain you and bring a smile to your face.
