A heartwarming video is going viral this week showing the moment the Disney character Stitch comforts a 2 year-old girl who fell on her face while running enthusiastically to meet him by pretending to trip too.

Little Emily was so excited when she saw Stitch, star of the 2002 film Lilo & Stitch, at Disneyland in California that she tried to run right for him. Unfortunately, the excited toddler ended up falling flat on her face.

Much to Emily’s joy, Stitch cheered her up by immediately pretending to trip himself, just as she did. Before long, the two of them were flat on the ground together!

Stitch’s actions cheered Emily up enough that she got back up and walked over to give him a hug as he stayed on the ground. He soon got up on his knees and gave the little girl a hug before putting a flower bracelet on her wrist.

Emily’s mom was so touched by the video that she posted it to Instagram, captioning it, “Friends who fall together, stay together.”
