A woman is being hailed as a hero this week after she bought out an entire shoe store so that she could donate the shoes to victims of the Nebraska floods.
During a Kansas Payless ShoeSource liquidation sale, Audrey Tritt stepped up to buy every shoe for $100. The shoes had all been marked down to $1 a pair, and Audrey contacted Payless and worked out a deal to buy all 204 remaining pairs of shoes for less than half that price so she could help victims of the devastating floods.

“I have been so blessed,” she said. “There have been so many great people in my life who have inspired me. I see so many horrible things in the news. So many people have helped me when I was down, I want to help if I can.”
The flooding has already caused $1 billion-worth of damage to Nebraska and Iowa communities.
“I really feel I have been directed and guided to help people,” Audrey continued. . “I think everything is a part of God’s plan. If you can do something for someone else, you need to find a way even if it is a pair of shoes.”
Audrey is hoping that this will inspire others to do good deeds for those who need it.
“I just hope this inspires other people to volunteer and donate if you have been blessed,” she added.
God bless this woman for going out of her way to help victims of this natural disaster! We should all pay it forward by helping someone in need the next time we have the opportunity to do so.
