Josh Groban is known as one of the most popular singers in the country thanks to his unique baritone voice that allows him to sing many different genres of music. As the lead singer of the country band Sugarland, Jennifer Nettles has also garnered quite a fan base for her singing and songwriting abilities.

Fans of the two singers were ecstatic last week when the duo teamed up for an amazing duet at Madison Square Garden!

Josh and Jennifer had collaborated on the song “99 Years,” which was released last year on the album “Bridges.” The song tells the story of a relationship that starts out smoothly and makes it through a series of speed bumps over the ensuing decades, leaving the couple with a beautiful love to look back on after 99 years.

Josh’s smooth voice starts the song off, and when Jennifer’s strong vocals come in, pure magic happens! The audience knew that they were witnessing something special, and they remained in awestruck silence save for the occasional cheer.

This is a ballad that couples everywhere will be able to relate to. We all hope that we are lucky enough to grow old and have a love like this one to look back on!

In the audience, couples can be seen holding each other as they listen to the song. It’s obvious that the tune really is resonating with them. Footage of the performance has quickly gone viral, being viewed nearly 100,000 times in less than a week.

“We need (at least) 99 more years of your music!” one social media user commented, with another adding, “I love Josh but I had almost forgotten what a powerful voice that Jennifer has~!!”
