Though most people who have pets own a dog or a cat, others own other types of animals as well. A woman named Elena from Kemerovo, Russia is one of these people, as she has a pet raccoon named Tema!

Tema is a cheeky raccoon who has garnered a massive following on Instagram because of his adorable look and personality. Though Tema is quite cute, he is also a bit of a troublemaker, as the video below will show you!

Elena arrived home on this day to see her sofa cushions moving, and she immediately knew that Tema was up to something. When she pulled the cushions back, Elena gasped in shock as she saw her raccoon’s furry little behind sticking out of a huge hole in the couch. Tema had decided to rip the sofa cushions apart to make a little bed for himself!

When Elena reached out to teach Tema, the raccoon gives her an innocent look. He clearly was trying to make it look like he had not done anything wrong, even though he had been caught redhanded!

Instead of running away in embarrassment, Tema simply went back to making his bed as if nothing had happened. Elena could not help but laugh at her hilariously mischievous little pet.

“Raccoons are pretty difficult animals to have at home,” Elena said. Uh, that’s pretty obvious from this video! I don’t think I will be adopting a raccoon anytime soon, but it’s fun to watch videos of Tema’s antics. Elena is lucky to have such a spunky little companion to keep life interesting!
