A Michigan boy has become a viral sensation with the hilarious thing he did when he forgot the number of his favorite children’s television channel.

The little boy and his mother had been at a neighbor’s house when he decided he wanted to go home. His mother allowed him to run across the street alone, telling him to turn on the kid’s channel and wait for her to come home.

The problem was that the boy could not remember the station number, but instead of going back to his neighbor’s house to ask his mom, he did something different. The boy headed to the front porch, knowing that his dad was at the other side of their family’s doorbell device.

As the boy stood in front of the doorbell, the motion detector kicked in. The video below this story shows the boy staring into the doorbell camera and shouting  “Dad? Dad!”

“How’s it going, man?” his dad responds.

“How do you turn on the kids channel?” the child asks. “In the house. Do you know Dad?”

“Oh man. I think the kids channel is, maybe like 25,” his dad said.

“I don’t know what channel 25 looks like!” the boy hilariously responded.

After laughing briefly, the father explains to him that he has to press the “two and the five.” The grateful boy thanks his dad by smothering the doorbell camera in kisses.
