Sometimes kids do and say some of the most amazing and unusual things, so was the case when Savannah took over the 911 call for her dad who was experiencing chest pain and was unable to breath well enough to speak to the dispatcher.

For the duration of the call, five-year-old Savannah keeps very calm and reassures her dad that he is going to be okay and that help is on the way. The dispatchers asks her several questions which she calmly answers. She even unlocks the door for the pending emergency crew and warns the dispatcher that they have a little dog named Lou. Lou is nice she says, but he barks a lot.

This is where it gets funny. When Savannah realizes that the emergency crew will be arriving at the house shortly, she tells the dispatcher that she and her dad are in their jammies. In addition, Savannah states she’s wearing a tank top and needs to change clothes before help gets there. She’s not sure what she’s going to wear, she says, but she needs to figure out something.

The dispatcher tells her it is okay and not to worry. He instructs her to stay with her dad until the ambulance gets there, but poor little Savannah is concerned about her attire for the occasion. Even while worrying about her clothing, she still manages to tell the dispatcher to hurry because her dad needs oxygen really fast.

You’ll have to listen for yourself and see just how sweet and calm Savannah is while reassuring her dad and talking to the dispatcher. She’s funny, smart, and very wardrobe conscientious. What a sweetheart!
