It’s never too late to pursue your dreams. Sure, life takes hold and priorities sometimes supersede one’s goal to fulfill a dream. However, there are many people who fulfill their dreams later in life through perseverance.
Dan Lucas is a performer who is inspiring others to achieve their dreams regardless of age. The 64 year-old singer loves the art of music far too much to let his age stop him from showing off his talent to the world, which is why he decided to recently audition for “The Voice Senior Germany.”

With his long hair, T-shirt, and jeans, Dan looks far younger than his 64 years. When he took the stage to audition, he decided to perform the Journey hit “Don’t Stop Believin,'” and it only took a few notes for the judges and audience alike to be on their feet!

The mix of low and high notes in this song makes it incredibly difficult to sing, but Dan manages to pull it off effortlessly. The song and Dan’s performance of it serves as an inspiration to senior citizens to never stop believing, and to never give up on their dreams!

It should come as no surprise that not only did Dan make it through to the next round, he ended up winning the entire competition! We think having a senior competition of “The Voice” is a great idea, and we wish they would do it in the states. Check out Dan’s unforgettable performance for yourself below!
