Brenda Pearson is a mother of two who got a job waitressing at a local diner soon after she moved to Roland, Arkansas recently. Brenda desperately needed the job, as her family had spent a lot of money during the move.

Brenda was working her normal shift on Mother’s Day when she served a truck driver who wanted a to-go order of a double cheeseburger. Since the restaurant wasn’t crowded, Brenda spent some time chatting with the truck driver and getting to know him. They talked all about the strong Christian faith that they share, and Brenda told him all about her two children and the financial struggles her family is facing. Brenda lamented that she was even having trouble keeping her bills paid.

When the truck driver’s order finally came out, he realized that it had been made incorrectly, so Brenda went back to the kitchen to have another double cheeseburger made. When it came time for him to pay for his meal, the truck driver said that he wanted to pay Brenda a tip, only this was no normal tip. Brenda was stunned when the truck driver said that he was going to pay her a $1,000 tip!

“Are you serious?!” Brenda screamed, and when the trucker said that he was indeed speechless, Brenda was so overwhelmed that she was out of breath.
