A sad announcement has been made about Kate Middleton that has her millions of supporters praying for her.
Kate is currently on maternity leave as she waits to welcome her third child. Though she already has two healthy children in Prince George and Princess Charlotte, there is a reason she may not go for a fourth child that many were not expecting.
Kate reportedly suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum, which is an extreme type of nausea and vomiting that occurs during only pregnancy. This very rare disease means that Kate is often incredibly ill while pregnant.
While many expectant mothers suffer from morning sickness and passive nausea, these symptoms are far worse for Kate.
The symptoms of this disease include severe nausea, fainting, extreme dizziness, and persistent vomiting. Making matters worse, the vomiting leads to dehydration that can cause serious problems for both mother and child. That’s why Kate has to take even more precautions than the average pregnant mom does. Rest is especially important for Kate, so we can only hope that she is getting as much of that as possible right now!
