A mail worker is being hailed as the nicest mailman in the United States after a video went viral showing him do something incredibly kind when delivering a package to a home.

“A mail worker is earning praise for his personal touch when it comes to delivering packages in an exchange caught on a doorbell security camera,” the video description read. “When the unidentified worker showed up at the Washington state doors top to leave the package, the homeowner informed him she was not there and told him to leave the parcel at the door. Fearful of porch pirates, however, he offered to hide the package in a recycling bin. Social media fell in love with the sweet move.”

These days, with so much negativity in the world, it is easy to forget that there are kind people out there who will take extra measures to do good things for others. Videos like this serve as a much needed reminder that there are still good people in the world.
