When some people perform it is as if their music or dancing comes right from their soul, and that’s exactly the case with one contestant that recently appeared on The Greatest Dancer.

Andrew may dance like a regular 21-year-old guy, but there’s nothing ordinary about him. He is the highlight of his mother’s life and likes to hang out with his friends. But he also has an extra chromosome.

Andrew was born with Down’s Syndrome, and his mom, Donna, noticed early on that he loved music. By the time he was 11, he was dancing in front of the television mimicking any kind of dance that played.

He is now a natural, and talented dancer that enjoys ballet, contemporary dance, and ballroom dancing. So when he decided to perform on the television show he wasn’t worried at all. Although is mom was full of nerves and gave him plenty of pointers, Andrew simply reminded her that he was an amazing dancer. When he appeared on stage, you can see just how confident he is.

Even Andrew’s best friend, Tom, who also has Down’s Syndrome, was in the audience cheering him on. At first Andrew was on a stage surrounded by mirrors and hidden from the audience.

He danced to the Justin Timberlake song “Can’t Stop the Feeling” and within seconds of starting his performance he had gotten 75 percent of the votes. That’s when the mirrors opened to reveal the audience.

Andrew was shocked, but he fed off of the audience and took his freestyle performance to the next level. The audience went wild and judge Cheryl was in tears before the performance was over.

Check out his amazing performance in the video below and be sure to share it with your family and friends.
