Snow is beautiful and can also bring out the kid in all of us. From making snow angels to snowmen, winter snow can create some of the most wonderful childhood memories.
However, adults can have fun too. That’s exactly what Cody Lutz, his fiancé Lucy, and her sister decided to do. This family from Cincinnati, Ohio didn’t just want to build a traditional snowman. Instead, they decided to have their snowman also serve as a security purpose.

“We were playing in the snow, she’s from Mississippi so this is the most snow she’s ever seen in her entire life,” Cody said, later adding, “I love the snow!”
Cody and his crew used an old tree stump as the base of the snowman and they proceeded to make a huge 9-ft giant in their front yard. The group then shaved off the sides of the snow-covered stump to make it look more traditional.
Anyone who looks at the snowman would have no idea that it had a wooden base, and this came back to bite one unsuspecting vandal this past week in a big way. At some point on Monday, an unknown person drove onto Cody’s property while it was unoccupied. When Cody arrived home from work, he saw tire tracks all over his yard. The tracks suddenly stopped at the snowman, who he named Hugh.
“Instant Karma!” Cody said. “It’s hilarious. You know, what goes around comes around, in good ways and bad ways. SO i guess everyone learns a valuable lesson here from Frosty.”
The tree stump undoubtedly did some serious damage to the vehicle and left whoever was driving it very shaken! Now, we hope the vandal wasn’t injured but we have to admit, we love the fact whoever was behaving badly got a little dose of karma.
