Many celebrities have more than one talent, and when you think of Kathy Bates, you probably think of her acting accolades. After all, she’s got quite a bit of success under her belt.

The 70 year old is known for her terrifying performance in the series American Horror Story and her role in Steven King’s Misery. She has won two Emmys, an Oscar, and two Golden Globe awards.

While she may be known for her acting skills, she’s not one of those we tend to think of when talking about celebs with multiple talents. After all, you’ve never seen her sing and act like some of Hollywood’s other top talent.

But she recently got outside of her box, and even outside of her generation so to speak to show just how talented and flexible of an actress she can be. She appeared on Lip Sync Battle and shocked everyone with her performance.

Decked out in a faux fur coat, fedora, and sunglasses, Bates let out her inner gangster, a side none of us had ever seen before. As soon as she started lip syncing to Bruno Mars “That’s What I Like” the crowd roared.

She stripped down to a leopard print top and was surrounded by back up dancers dressed as hotel staffers that were jumping at her beck and call. At one point she even popped open a rock strawberry champagne.

Bates didn’t miss a single move as she danced to the beat and just like the pro that she is, she nailed all the lyrics too. The judges were stunned at her performance, so this is one you don’t want to miss. Check it out in the video below and be sure to share it with your family and friends.
