Giving birth is an incredibly difficult process for any woman to go through, and it can be especially scary for first time mothers. That’s why the family in this video decided to lighten the mood for a new mom to be by singing a song!

This woman was in labor for the first time, and she was surrounded by her family, who wanted to support her however they could.

The video opens with the cast of characters being introduced as Mommy, Daddy, Uncle, Grandma, and Auntie. The two nurses in the room were also introduced, and everyone seemed to be in high spirits. Even the new mother had a smile in her face as she lay in bed preparing to go into labor.

Unlike many new fathers, this one did not seem nervous at all, as he appeared to be very excited to meet his child. As he tried to lighten the mood, the dad said, “as soon as your mama pushes you real good.”

The uncle then started to beat box, and before long, the entire family was singing the song “Push It.” First released in 1987 by rap duo Salt-n-Pepa, the song is one of the most popular tunes of the twentieth century.

The song was fitting for this moment, as the mother was getting ready to push out her baby! The mother laughed as her family sang and even joked that her baby was going to come out already dancing to “Push It!”
