The police officers in Lexington, Kentucky were getting ready for a new year when they were hit with a tragedy that they never saw coming.
On New Year’s Eve, the Lexington Police Department were called in to respond to reports of a Krispy Kreme truck that had caught on fire. Thankfully, nobody was hurt and officers were able to quickly put the fire out. Sadly, however, the truck is too burned to be used again.
The police officers decided to ring in the new year by snapping hilarious photos of themselves mourning the truck. These officers clearly adhere to the stereotype that cops love doughnuts!
“No words,” they wrote alongside the photos.

With the serious and dangerous work that police officers do everyday, it’s nice to see that our men and women in blue haven’t lost their sense of humor and are able to have a little fun even if it’s to poke fun at themselves.
