A heartwarming video is going viral this week showing a dog being reunited with his military owner after they spent two and a half months apart.
Devin Ekstrom spent ten weeks at US Army Basic Training before he finally got to return home to Northwood, New Hampshire. His 24 year-old partner Morgan was there to meet him along with their dog Indus, and thankfully, she had her camera handy to capture every moment of it!

The video shows Insus, a 2 year-old Siberian Husky-Alaskan Malamute crossbreed, jumping up and down with joy as he cuddled up to Devin. It’s clear that he missed his owner very much!

The reunion warmed Morgan’s heart and brought tears to her eyes.
“Indus’ ‘dad’ was so happy, and blown away by the love he gave him once he realised it was him,” she wrote alongside the video. “I was crying along with the rest of the family.”
The video shows just how strong the bond between a dog and human can be. It’s no wonder that dogs are known as man’s best friend!
“Oh, so beautiful, your dogs can love you more than anyone in this world,” one social media user wrote, with another adding, “Haha beautiful…i know the feeling… my 9 month old Olde English Bulldogge does this to me everytime I come home from work. He goes NUTS.”
We hope Derek, Morgan, and Indus have many years of happiness together to come. The video makes it clear that there is an incredible amount of love in this home!
