Weddings are an unforgettable part of a person’s life. It might just be one of the biggest events a person ever experiences. You are, after all, celebrating the union between you and the love of your life.

So even the smallest of celebrations calls for a special celebration, and many of those celebrations include a dance to wrap up the festivities. While not all of us are born dancers, we still enjoying getting out our dancing shoes from time to time.

Traditionally, the bride and groom often kick off the dancing for the night with their first dance as husband and wife, and the wedding celebration in the video is no exception. While many first dances take place to a slow, swaying, meaningful song, couples have gotten more and more creative over the past few years and some have even put on quite a show.

That’s exactly what happens with this couple. It is easy to see by the looks of the outfits they choose that this isn’t going to be a typically romantic first dance. Instead, this couple decides to dance their first dance in the swing style of jazz music from the 20’s to 40’s. This was called the swing era and hundreds of swing dancers came from this era.

The dance has become popular again in recent years and this couple is a perfect example of why. Now competitions for this style of dance take place around the world.

This duo opts to dance to the Meghan Trainor song “Dear Future Husband” and don matching outfits. She’s in a bright red tutu skirt while he’s decked out in red Chuck Taylor shoes and matching suspended.

Check out the adorable video of their performance below and be sure to share it with your family and friends. This is one you won’t want to miss!
