It’s been seven months since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married, and they are now preparing to have their first Christmas together as a married couple.
Harry and Meghan are planning to spend Christmas with Queen Elizabeth at Sandringham, the 92-year-old monarch’s country home about 110 miles north of London. There, they will join the other royals in participating in a series of Christmas traditions. Guests are set to arrive on Christmas Eve to exchange gifts. On Christmas morning, the royals will attend church before returning to Sandringham House for a lunch of Norfolk turkey and other festivities.
This will not be the first Christmas that Meghan spends with the royal family, as she celebrated with them last year one month after her engagement to Harry was announced. Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children will be joining in on the festivities as well. Despite reports that Kate and Meghan do not get along, the two couples are said to have had a blast celebrating Christmas together last year.

“They really loved Christmas and all had a wonderful time,” a royal source said. “I think the two women got on — they are definitely not best friends, but it was a really special time for them all to spend together.”
Though initial reports said that Meghan Markle’s mother Doria Ragland would be joining the royal family to celebrate Christmas, this is not actually the case, and it’s not known what her Christmas plans are.
We hope Harry, Meghan, and the rest of the royals have a very merry Christmas together!
