Dog The Bounty Hunter, also known as Duane Chapman, just made a devastating announcement when he revealed that his beloved wife Beth’s cancer is terminal. This comes weeks after it was announced that Beth’s throat cancer had returned one year after she battled it into remission.

By the time doctors caught her cancer this time, it had already spread to other parts of her body, including her lungs. Though doctors recommended that she undergo four to eight chemotherapy sessions to fight it, Beth has instead opted to leave the hospital in favor of returning to her home in Colorado.

“I have to keep faith, I am the leader of the family,” Dog said. “She thinks she is, but I am. I have to keep it where I don’t have any doubts and keep everything positive. I love my honey so much, I don’t know what I’m gonna do.”

Dog went on to admit that Beth’s cancer situation has been extremely hard on him.

“I cry all the time,” he said. “I think I’m in a bad dream and I need to wake up. People keep saying to me, ‘Dog, are you OK?’ But I’m not the one who’s sick.”

Dog explained that the situation with Beth’s lung was bad when she was rushed to the hospital last month. It was then that doctors discovered her cancer was back.

“Half of her lung was full of water,” he said. “Five ounces of fluid was drained from her lung after she was rushed to a hospital in LA last week.”

Dog went on to say that Beth is currently planning her own funeral.

“She’s like, ‘Here’s the casket I want, and here are the flowers.’ I said, ‘Beth, don’t say that.’ And she said, ‘What? You don’t want me planning my funeral? Well, I’m going to,’ “And she’ll say, ‘You have to face the facts.’ But I don’t want to,” he said.

“She woke me up the other night and told me, ‘You’re so damn stupid. If I die, you’re going to lose the farm.’ And I said, ‘Don’t you dare say that,’ and she said, ‘Well, it’s true!’ and I said, ‘Beth, we don’t even have a farm,’” Dog continued. “[I’m] telling you that story because it shows that she’s still got her wit. It’s not in her brain. I don’t even like to hear jokes like that from her, though.”
