Geert Weggen is a Dutch/Swedish photographer who has become famous around the world for his photos of red squirrels.

Geert’s career path started six years ago when he found a fox sitting on his doorstep, and he decided to feed him. After this, the fox came back every day, and Geert started snapping photographs of him.

Before he knew it, birds started showing up at his home regularly as well, and then the red squirrels started coming. It was when Geert started photographing squirrels that he realized that this was where his real passion lay!
