Who doesn’t love to see a good flash mob? While we may not have the opportunity to see them in person, getting to see them in a video is still remarkable. But if you are one of the people that have witnessed one in person, you are truly lucky.

Which is exactly what happened to the people at Central Station in Sydney, Australia, on St. Patrick’s Day in 2011. The video alone is epic as you’ll see below.

The video starts out with one boy dressed in all black. The Irish music begins playing through the speakers and the boy steps forward and begins his traditional dance.

This particular flash mob is a marketing ploy for the Irish Tourism and these particular flash mobs have been performed in multiple countries since they started in 2011.

You can see in the video the aerial view of the busy station and people are coming and going without a clue that something is coming up. That’s when the music changes overhead.

Little by little more and more people join and before it is all over, there are over 100 people dancing a traditional Irish jig in the center of the station with onlookers thoroughly amused by the unexpected event.

Check out the video below and be sure to share it with your family and friends. You’ll be dancing in your seat in no time.
