Being an identical triplet may seem like a lot of fun, and while there are certainly positive aspects to it, it is also annoying to constantly be mistaken for somebody else for your entire life.

Amy, Laura and Jan are a set of triplets who know all too well what this is like. When they were growing up, their parents had to dress them in different colors just to tell them apart. These colors were pink, yellow, and blue.

When the girls appeared on The Rachael Ray Show, Jan went so far as to identify herself as the “blue” sister rather than by her personality!

Since the triplets all have the same hair and makeup, it’s difficult for them to feel like they are each their own person. That’s why they decided that it was time to get unique makeovers!

In the video below this story, you’ll see the triplets finally get their makeovers, and their transformation is nothing short of amazing!

Right before giving them their makeovers, host Rachael Ray had some advice for the triplets.

“Maybe get a new T-shirt going,” she said.

Rachael could not hide her surprise when Amy stepped out after her makeover and revealed her new look.

Rachael’s face when all the makeovers were revealed was priceless. It’s clear that these makeovers will change the triplets’ lives forever!
