Aiden is a 3 year-old toddler who had never get his haircut, which resulted in him having a long flowing mane! Since he’d never had his hair cut before, he was very nervous when it came time for him to get a haircut for the first time.

Aiden’s dad was right there by his side to offer emotional support and to document the experience.

After Aiden’s third birthday, his parents decided that it was finally time for him to get a haircut. They also made the caring decision to donate his hair to those in need! While Aiden was happy to help the less fortunate, he was also apprehensive about actually getting his haircut.

The barber got started by putting Aiden’s hair in a ponytail and handing the scissors to his dad, who was going to make the first cut. Seeing how nervous his little boy was, the father leaned down and said to him, “Mira (Look). You’re a big boy, right?”

Aiden took a deep breath to gather up the courage to sit through the cut. His dad then began to cut the pony tail, and before he knew it, his hair was gone! Aiden burst into tears as soon as his father was done cutting.

His father showered Aiden with kisses as he tried to hold back his own tears in the emotional moment. The father explained that this was a big deal for the whole family because this haircut was “three years in the making.”
