A heartbreaking photo of a little boy sitting all alone at a large table for his birthday party that nobody showed up for is going viral this week, with people all over the world sympathizing for him. Now, however, things are looking up for the boy, as the image has captured the attention of various sports teams in his home city of Phoenix, Arizona.

Mother Sil Mazzini explained that she had invited 32 classmates of her son Teddy’s birthday party at a pizzeria, but nobody showed up.

As soon as the photo started going viral, the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Rising responded to Teddy. The Suns invited the little boy to their game against the Los Angeles Lakers next Wednesday!

“How about we celebrate with thousands at our place! Tickets to Wednesday’s game are all yours Teddy! Talk soon!” the team tweeted.

“Teddy can get The Mala from @VeneziasPizza and join 7,000 of his closest friends this Friday. Come on out Teddy!” the Phoenix Rising added.

This means that Teddy’s birthday celebration will continue for another week! It looks like this will be a birthday to remember for the right reasons for him after all!
