It can often be difficult for women to deal with their mothers-in-law. Sometimes, mothers-in-law think they know best to the point they act on decisions concerning their grandchildren without asking their daughters-in-law first.

Now, however, one mother-in-law is learning the hard way that this is not a good idea after the internet turned on her for doing the unthinkable to her granddaughter without asking her mother first.

It all started when the baby’s mother took to the parenting message boards on Baby Center to reveal what her mother-in-law did.

“My [boyfriend] and [mother-in-law] shaved my baby,” she wrote. “We lightly discussed (he explained why it works and I called bull and refused) about a week ago. “I come home yesterday from an hour long grocery run to a bald baby. Whether it works or not I’m still upset he chose to do it without my consent and that his mom was a participant, since she’s already in the doghouse for coming over on Christmas Eve and smothering the baby with kisses after she had the flu.”

Internet users could not believe their eyes when they saw her post.

“That’s not cool that they did that behind your back. I would be furious,” one mom wrote, with another adding, “This won’t be the last thing if you don’t draw the line now. MIL needs a nice, long time out. [Dumb husband] needs to wake up — counseling will help.”

“I would be sobbing,” added another person. “I agree that they get no more alone time if they’re going to use it to take advantage.”
