Fans of the legendary former “Price Is Right” host Bob Barker are praying for him today after it was revealed that the 94 year-old was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital at around 1pm on Monday.

Barker’s manager explained that the host “woke up Monday morning with a major flare in back pain.”

“He was sitting up on a stretcher, and seemed responsive, as they wheeled him into the emergency room,” said a source.

His manager went on to explain why an ambulance was called.

“It was painful and difficult to get him in a private vehicle,” the manager explains. “We decided it was easier and better for him.”

“He’s still being evaluated. He’s awake, alert and more comfortable than he was. Hopefully, he’ll be back home soon,” Barker’s manager added of his condition on Monday night.

Barker has had numerous health issues in recent years. This comes a year after Barker suffered a serious fall in his bathroom. Back in 2015, he fell during a morning walk and split his head.

Barker is best known for hosting “The Price Is Right” from 1972 to 2007, and during that time, he won 14 individual Emmy awards for Outstanding Game Show Host and 5 for producing.

Messages of support have been pouring in for Barker on social media.

“I understand Bob Barker is very Ill and has been taken to the Hospital. I always liked Bob, and I pray he recovers,” game show host Chuck Woolery wrote on twitter. “He always went out of his way to support and encourage me. Prayers buddy.”
