Sally Rewehooeern moved to the United States from Holland in 1953. She is now 92-years-old and has lived by herself since her husband died in 1990. Since her kids are scattered across the country, she gets pretty lonely.

Recently, however, Sally’s neighbors in Washington lost their beloved dog, Blizzard. To replace their beloved pet, they bought a 15-week-old Saint Bernard puppy named Brody.

The very day they brought Brody home, he wandered off, and guess where he ended up at? You got it. He was down the street at Sally’s house, and they have been best buddies ever since.

Whenever he gets the chance, Brody follows Sally everywhere. His owners see him following her around the yard while she works in her garden, walking with her to the mailbox, and even hopping in the car with her for a ride.

Sally says she grew up on a farm in Holland and always had dogs around her when she was a little girl. She says having Brody around has brought her back to her roots and really raised her spirits.

Thanks to her new friend Brody, she’s more active then ever. Check out the video below of Sally and Brody and be sure to share this adorable video with your family and friends.
