Keith Urban is known for being one of the kindest country music stars working in the industry today. He recently showed the world once again how generous and giving he is by making the last wish of one of his biggest fans come true.

Marissa English, 25, is a huge fan of Keith’s, and though she had tickets to his latest concert in Toledo, Ohio, health issues stopped her from being able to go. Marissa has suffered from numerous health problems since birth, including a cyst on her brain, cerebral palsy, and scoliosis. She has recently been moved to hospice care, and doctors do not think her prognosis is good.

Marissa has decorated her room with photos of Keith.

“She just has such a fascination with Keith and loves to watch him on TV and listen to his music,” said her nurse Jackie Codding. Marissa even has a pillow that has been wrapped in a t-shirt from Keith’s tour.

“It’s actually cute because she’ll pick up the pillow and hug it and kiss it… she’ll point at it and say ‘Mr. Hottie,'” said Marissa’s mother, Marlise Matthews.

Marissa’s nursed launched a social media campaign to try and get Keith to visit her at St. Vincent Hospital, or at least to speak with her on FaceTime.

“We knew how important it was to Marissa to be at that concert tonight,” said nurse Jan Cassidy, “and since she wasn’t able to we were hoping to try and find some way to have Keith make a connection with her.”

Keith saw the social media messages, and he stunned the nurses by agreeing to come to the hospital! When he arrived, Keith went above and beyond by singing Marissa’s favorite song “Blue Aint’ Your Color,” at her bedside.

Marissa’s sister Madison took to Instagram to write that Keith was “so into her and I bawled like a baby.”

“You are a class act,” she told Keith, “and we could never express how much this meant to us today.”

During his concert that night, Keith told his fans that he had met “a beautiful girl named Marissa,” and that he “truly” thought she was “my biggest fan.” He then went on to donate his entire concert to her!
