We’ve all been in a situation before where the room is crowded and then you feel it. The urge to pass gas. You can’t just let one rip, but if you can’t make it to the bathroom, what are your options?

Of course, you can hope it comes out silently, but what if it stinks? One fashion company has heard our prayers and although these jeans can’t keep you from passing gas, they can filter the smell.

We fart up to 14 times a day, so the same company that created flatulence filtering pajamas and underwear has now come up with jeans. They feature an activated carbon back panel that absorbs all the odors when you pass gas.

The odor vapors become trapped in the filter and are neutralized. To reactivate the filter, simply wash the garment. Of course, it isn’t cheap to hide your odors. These jeans from Shreddies will set you back $170 each.

Right now they only come in a dark color, but the sizes range from 4 to 16 for women and 28 to 40 inch waists for men. Both come in short, medium, and tall lengths.

Although anyone can wear these garments, Shreddies designed their odor filtering clothes to help those suffering with flatulence caused by IBS, gastritis, Crohn’s disease, colitis, dyspepsia, and other disorders of the bowel and digestive systems.

Simply not having to worry about flatulence can help relieve their anxiety and thus improve the person’s condition. The motto of the company is “fart with confidence.” They recommend pairing the jeans with the underwear for a double layer of protection.
