We’ve all been in one of those situations when we’re out at a bar on a Saturday night and a friend who has had a bit too much to drink picks a fight with someone. This leaves us with two options: either sit back and watch a fight happen, or do the responsible thing and step in to put a stop to it.

The viral video opens with a cat who is wearing a leash growl menacingly at someone off camera. It is clear that the cat is getting ready to pounce, but then a golden retriever steps in and effectively says, “Not so fast.” The dog grabs his feline friend by the leash and pulls the cat away from the unfolding confrontation, putting a stop to it immediately!

The short clip has gone viral and been viewed over nine million times, as people all over the world can’t get enough of it!

Dogs and cats stereotypically do not get along, so it’s nice to see that these two animals are clearly such good friends! This cat is definitely one lucky creature to have such a good hands-on friend by its side.
