Nearly everyone has heard the Bible story about David and Goliath, but the video below might just be the closest thing to the story in modern times that we’ll ever see.

The video shows two dogs hanging out at the dog park in Winnipeg, Manitoba. What makes it unlikely is that one of the dogs is a huge Great Dane named Vago, and the other is a tiny 12-week old Chihuahua named Lilly.

Vago knows not to pick a fight with a girl, but he can’t resist stretching out a lazy paw just to let her know that he is there. Lilly not only notices, but the friendly gesture triggers her fight instinct and the game is on.

She springs to her feet and bounces on her opponent, although she stays out of striking distance to start with. Before long though her confidence builds and she gets closer and closer.

Eventually she lays her tiny head on his paw and its easy to see that his head is bigger than all of her. If he really wanted a snack she might just be the perfect size. Lucky for her though, Vago is a gentleman.
