Grandparents have a special relationship with their grandkids. It is one that can never be replaced, so when you see multiple generations having fun together, you can’t help but smile.
This little girl and her grandpa are a perfect example of that. Maeve is just 10-years-old and she’s found an unlikely tap dancing partner in her 72-year-old grandpa, Bill Jones.
She asked him if he would partner with her for her summer recital and he happily agreed. The duo practiced an hour a week for six weeks to prepare at the From the Top Dance Center in Reading, Massachusetts.

When it comes time for the recital, the announcer shares that Maeve and her grandpa are fifth generation dance lovers. They danced to the Pitch Perfect tune “When I’m Gone” and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Check out their heartwarming performance in the video below and be sure to share it with your family and friends. It’s clear to see that these two have a very sweet relationship.
