When it comes to the safety of your children, you can never be too cautious, especially when it comes to the threat of drugs. Apprehending drug dealers is a priority for police, but drug dealers keep finding new ways to distribute these drugs under the radar.
On September 21, the Hapeville Police Department in Georgia issued a warning to parents, teachers, and anyone else around children, to be on the lookout for prescription pills disguised to look like candy.
Just miles from Atlanta, the police had a major drug bust where they confiscated two firearms, cash, and drugs that look like sweet treats. The drugs are suspected to contain marijuana and cocaine.

The disguised drugs took on the shape of cartoon characters such as Minions, Hello Kitty, and Homer Simpson. Sadly, this isn’t the first time this has happened. In May, authorities in Cobb County confiscated Cheetos and gummy bears laced with marijuana.
Be sure to share this warning with your family and friends. We need to work together to protect our children.
