Princess Eugenie is set to marry Jack Brooksbank next month at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. Now, she has just announced a very specific dress code for her wedding that will apply to all women in attendance, including Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

Eugenie has told her guests that every woman who attends her wedding must wear a hat. This should come as no surprise to anyone, as Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice are known for their love of hats.

Eugenie has also said that the women who attend should wear more conservative dresses to her wedding, which is understandable since it is being held in a church. Experts say that day dresses are likely the most appropriate choice to wear to this wedding.

A dress code has also been issued to male attendants, who must wear morning suits. Prince William and Prince Harry will have to adhere to this rule as well.

Eugenie and Jack may be getting married at the same venue as Harry and Meghan, but their guest list is bigger. The couple sent out 800 invitations, 200 more than Harry and Meghan did. In addition, they have invited 1,200 members of the public to come to the event.

Though more people have been invited, Eugenie’s wedding will cost much less than that of her cousin. Hers will only cost £2 million, while Harry’s cost up to £45 million.

“The couple are delighted to announce an opportunity for 1,200 people from across the United Kingdom to be invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle to share the experience of their special day,” a spokesman for Buckingham Palace said. “The attendees will view the arrival of the congregation and members of the Royal Family, listen to a live broadcast of the marriage service and watch as the bride and groom depart St George’s Chapel at the end of the ceremony.”

We can’t wait for this next royal wedding, which will take place on October 12!
