Raden was 20 years-old when his beloved grandmother passed away. Though he was devastated by this loss, he came up with the perfect way to honor the grandmother that he loved so dearly.

Raden picked up his grandmother’s ashes and headed to Brighton Pier to scatter them and honor her memory. While he had gone there to have a somber moment, Raden ended up making a new friend in the form of a small Maltese and Shi Tzu hybrid. The dog, whose name is Bibi, was struggling to survive after a major gust of wind had blown him off the pier, and his owner had gone into panic mode at the thought of losing her pet forever.

The waves were too strong for Bibi to make any progress getting back to the pier, and it was looking like he would not survive. Raden watched this entire situation unfold, and he did not hesitate to take action. He stripped off his clothes and jumped into the water to save Bibi. Just in time, Raden reached Bibi and pulled the dog out of the water, much to the joy of his owner!

The video of the rescue has been viewed over two million times, and people can’t get enough of what Raden did.

“That man is a pure of heart. Wish the world had more people like him,” one internet user wrote, with another adding, “To the lovely, brave man who rescued Bibi, thanks. Your grandmother would be proud of you.”
